You've seen the commercials, you've heard the radio spots, you've driven past the Cash4Gold guys dancing on the side of the road... but have you actually gone in and tried to get cash?
Well, today I had lunch with Bekah (my blog friend turned real friend) and when we were done I asked her if she would like to come with me to sell some gold. She is fun, so she hopped in my car and off we went!
Most of my gold turned out to be "magnetic" which apparently means it's not gold. I did have some silver in a bracelet that I could have sold for $1.50, but that just didn't seem worth it.
After about 5 minutes the "WE BUY GOLD" guy handed me six $1 billz... So I said, "Look out Mr. Security Guard at the door - I'm a high-roller!"

Hey - You're supposed to be buying gold to hedge against a double-dip recession, not selling it! It's probably OK though, since you got to get a valuable picture of you with the "cash4gold" mascot-guy.
