Dad as a Cartoon

The "My Life" series at Granger has been one of my all-time favorites. I have only been there in person for one weekend, but was able to watch the rest of the weekend services online at www.gccwired.com. A couple of weekends ago Jeff Petersen and the team created THIS MEDIA to illustrate how important it is for the church to make more space for everyone to bring their friends. I thought it was GENIUS!! I loved seeing my dad drawn as a cartoon.

Hey Amber! Ya, I've never met you, but I've seen you lots of times in videos about your family :-) Not sure how you found me, but it's cool you did. I'm continually amazed at how positive people are about working at GCC. It seriously blows me away. I'm almost waiting to get there and it to be all horrible like most people think working at a church "would/should be."
I'm sure people tell you how wonderful and amazing your dad is all the time, and knowing a few people who have cool dads like yours I know it gets old, so instead I'll just say that I'm thrilled that I get to work at a place like GCC that has awesome leadership from top to bottom, and people who care more about people than about advancing their careers.

Gratz on your husband's new job, that sounds really awesome! My brother is a pharmacist and is at St. Joe here in town and thinks it's great. Hope you like it way up there!

Ok, so that's like the longest comment I've ever left for anyone... and it's like 4 comments in one :) have a good one!

Okay. I have to say that the beard on the worship guy is a little too long for church. :) Alright, I look like a bald Gandalf! But, yes, I agree that the video rocks!
