Amber is...

So, I decided to google "Amber is..." and this is what came up.

Amber is...

  • not produced from tree sap, but rather from plant resin
  • in the range of 30-90 million years old
  • a poor conductor of heat and feels warm to the touch
  • nothing new
  • a color worn by the Hull City AFC - an English football team
  • genuine
  • anything but sap
  • buoyant in salt water
  • capable of being highly polished
  • more than just old sap
  • often imitated by plastics
  • alive
  • durable enough to withstand a millenia - and also fragile
Amazing how many of those things really do apply to me. Especially the "buoyant in salt water" one. Thanks for the idea Todd!

What comes up when you do this to your name??

"Mindy is a very simple, serial molecular dynamics program derived from NAMD source code. It currently uses xplor parameter and structure files. The program is written in very straightforward C++."

I sound smart!

This is fun. I like my last two:

-Kyle is one of the four central characters, all of whom are eight or nine year old boys.
-Kyle is "Nothing Profound"
-Kyle is unable to return home.
-Kyle is a nice guy with a mellow attitude.
-Kyle is committed to giving it 110%
-Kyle is unlikely to let the controversy rattle his cage.
-KYLE IS PLAYING A FREE CONCERT
-Kyle is the subject of an experiment gone "wrong" and now they want him exterminated.
-Kyle is intent on creating the first soundless vacuum.
